Individual counselling offers a supportive space to explore your experiences, better understand yourself, and navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and compassion. Together, we work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, focusing on what matters most in your life right now.
Many people come to counselling when they are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Others are looking for a space to reflect, process experiences, and develop new ways of responding to stress, emotions, and relationships. Our work is collaborative and guided by your goals, values, and needs.
Counselling can also support people who experience the world in neurodivergent ways, including those with ADHD or executive functioning differences. Rather than viewing these differences as problems to fix, our work focuses on understanding your experiences and building strategies that support your wellbeing and daily life.
What We Might Work On
Counselling can support a wide range of experiences and concerns, including:
Stress, burnout, and overwhelm
Anxiety and emotional regulation
Self-understanding and identity
Life transitions and decision-making
Relationships and communication
Self-esteem and self-compassion
Processing challenging or meaningful life experiences
Our Approach
Counselling may include reflective conversation, practical strategies, and opportunities to explore patterns, emotions, and experiences in a deeper way. The goal is not to change who you are, but to help you develop insight, tools, and supports that allow you to move through life with greater awareness, resilience, and self-trust.

Executive Functioning Counselling focuses on helping you develop strategies for planning, focusing, organizing, and following through in ways that work with your brain. Rather than trying to force yourself into systems that don’t fit, our work centers on understanding how your brain processes information, motivation, and emotions all while building supports that align with that.
Executive functioning refers to the skills we use to manage everyday life, such as planning, prioritizing, starting tasks, managing time, and keeping track of information. These are sometimes called “cold” executive functioning skills. These are practical tools that support organization, problem-solving, and productivity.
Executive functioning is also closely connected to emotions. “Hot” executive functioning skills involve how we respond to stress, frustration, motivation shifts, and impulsive decisions in the moment. When emotions run high or overwhelm sets in, even well-planned systems can fall apart. Developing strategies that support emotional regulation and self-awareness is an important part of this work.
What We Might Work On
Together, we use practical tools and reflective conversations to build strategies that support your daily life. This might include:
Planning and prioritizing tasks
Time awareness and time management
Starting and completing tasks
Breaking down large or complex projects
Managing overwhelm and emotional regulation
Motivation and energy management
Creating systems that support organization and follow-through
Our Approach
Our work together is collaborative, practical, and individualized. The goal isn’t to “fix” your brain or push yourself harder. It’s to develop strategies, systems, and supports that align with your strengths, needs, and values.
